problem with soft mod

My Xbox is "Updating Xbox LIVE" and is stuck in a loop
ok ive tried twice and keep getting this screen. any ideas how to get it modded? ive got back to the original dash twice and same thing. im not deletting all my files of the e drive should i? is it possible to hot swap sid?

I read them now i need to know how to get my xbox to boot to xbox media center when it loads. i used mhackxbox to get it working. it runs evox dash i tried aid and it still runs evox.

 

If using a softmod, install the E:\ dashboard using AID

 

i did and it still boots to the evox dash

 

You must be doing it wrong.

What path do you take...?

 

i used aid and did the install to e: xbmc whith dhcp.
can you install to c with the soft mod? our do i change the file name?
