    Hi, Guys

I have bought a Starview 3 box and am using Chor*s in west clare. I have updated my box to gtrom 8.00. When I start the box up and go through the installation process and do an automatic scan everything fails, it picks up no channels whatsoever. I have tried on all N*L Chor*s Chor*s Cork etc and its the same each time. Any Ideas what might be wrong?
    Thanks

Sounds like you could be c****s mmds & not c*****s cable.
You`ll have to find out for certain as the SV3 wont work on mmds.

MMDS is aerial on the roof fed from an mmds transmitter.

St@rview The B0x-T, & Eur0vox TX will work on mmds.
Try & find out if you are mmds before you buy a new b0x.

    Thanks a million noelyf

Im guessing its mmds as i bought two boxes, one for my mate and his works fine on n*l and as i said there is an aerial on the roof too but to be sure i will ring and ask. Just one more thing, of the boxes you mentioned is there any particular one you'd recommend?

Try the search engine at the top of the page & have a read of a few posts about each b0x. I have neither of these boxes as im cable, so i wouldnt be able to help you there.

Hi Noel Box T is easier in terms of successfully flashing, but it is been discontinued by the looks of things. The TX is just as "first time" user friendly and is still in full distribution.

    Howya sc0user,
re: b0x T, is there a newer version on the way or is that it?

@ cescbomb, looks like the EV TX is the one.

Hi Noel main SV distrubutor is only selling the Box Super USB, (SV4), now. There are still older boxes knocking around and you will still find the Box T around, but in diminishing amounts.

These lads still have some here
