Problem with Starview Channel Editor

Hi, I'm trying to rearrange the channels on my Starview The Box, have taken a channel dump from the box, and now have a problem loading it into Starview Channel Editor - when I try and open the bin file, I got the following error:

Access violation at address 0050343f in module 'starviewchanneleditor.exe'. Read of address 0070F32C

This happens on a brand new Windows XP SP2 build and on a brand new Vista Ultimate build

Anyone have any ideas?

 

You must be using an old version of the editor that has a problem with vista. You will find the latest revision in Eamos FTA Library at the bottom of my post. You will find the SVCE 1044 in the Starview Software folder. You will find the SVCE 1044 user guide in the Starview Documentation Folder.

 

Nope, same problem with v1044, and this is on my brand new XP build

 

OK to solve this probelm just install any printer driver.

 

hi, sorry to be a pain
but i have practically the same prob as above ,got starview yesterday , this is only thing i cant sort out now, driving me crazy
get "access violation at address 00404B44 in module."starviewchanneleditor.exe". read address 63530B01

im definately using the newest svce ,on vista and alrdy have printer driver install

any advice would be greatly appreciated

Hi dear friends,i got a Starview The Box,but the channel editor doesnt work .I Got a error.I also installed printer driver but still got that error listed above.I am using geniune WIN XP SP2.

Download the SVCE guide in Eamos FTA Library at the bottom my post and have a look through it. If you are still having problems please post back.

 

I Have read the manual but still got the propblem,if i load a channel dump from starview 1 it works fine,but a channel dump for the box wont work,got the error.
