Problem with TDK-RW 1.1 and SONY 500AX

    Hi there,

    anybody else having a problem burning to a
    1x TDK DVD-RW (1.1) with a SONY DRU 500 AX FW 2.0c? I always have to erase the whole disc before writing on it, or else the writing of the LEAD-OUT won't stop...

    +RWs like Verbatim work totally fine, as do -Rs from various brands...

    Hi,

    it's me again, it seems this problem comes up when trying to burn a little amount of data to the TDK-RW, tried it with a test-DVD with 80MB, problem occurs, then I put like 1.4 GB on it and it works...

    Can anybody confirm this behaviour? Or is it just a bad disc?
