Problem with the box - t on chorus mmds

I've just recently got a box - t for chorus mmds in the laois area.
when i do a scan it picks up 90 channels and the rest radio.
secret menu 1570 was entered and epg has been switched on.
however, i can hardly get any channels to work.
only a few will like rte 1, setanta sports.
all the rest are scrambled channels including bbc1, rte 2 and the rest.
i have a chorus sagem itd60 box with a chorus card inserted underneath for the chorus box.
any ideas on how to unscramble the rest of the channels?

have the power inserter going into the antennae on the box -t and then a scart from the tv scart on the box -t to the tv itself.

do not know why programs are not unscrambled.
have chorus changed the signals lately so the the box -t do not work now?

I also changed my provider to chorus in the nagravision option on the secret menu but it keeps defaulting back to ntl when i go back in.
set default key has been done as well.

factory reset it again, select the provider and scan, see what it comes back with,

    Yeah, the box works fine.
    get 90 channels.
i actually drove to athlone to get it as i met a bloke from sligo half way.
i done a search in afterdawn for people selling box's and found him.
just ask or browse around or go to www.iwantabox.com and you'll get one.
very handy to have until upc decide to change the sagem chorus boxes.
    got mine for 100 yoyo's.

Nope you will need to flash it yourself. You will find firmware in Eamos. Are you sure you are on MMDS as some parts of Kildare are Ch**us cable.

i actually got the box with the latest image put on it.
if your sagem box is itd on the base of the box it's chorus mmds or if you have a aerial on your roof for the signal it is as well.

hey sc0user, as far as I'm aware although I'm on ch*(s "cable" it is not true cable in the sense that I'll need a terrestial receiver as opposed to cable one. I'm not MMDs alright though, no aerial on roof !

Yep but there is true cable in your area. Regards no aerial if you are on a communal MMDS feed you wont have one. As Murphy said check the label on a subbed box.

    sorry mate.
if chorus came around to upgrade my box i wouldn't let them in.
I have a sagem with a starview box to de-scramble it.
those new thompson box's cannot be de-scrambled.

A new box doesn't change the incoming signal.
As long as there is nagra1 in use one of the special boxes can do the job.
It looks like misko73 get now true cable instead of mmds.
