Problem with the movie "Old school 2003"

    Hi,
    I downloaded this movie from Kazaa lite just today.

    Filename was: Old School 2003 (Complete).asf
    It said the file could not be played back.

    I change the file type to .avi and WMP 9 starting playing the file with no image or audio but had the counter running...

    I have the latest divx and xvid drivers, so I am thinking its a dud file.

    Any suggestions to what the problem could be?

    One way of telling if it's a dud is the file size. If it's only a couple k then it's probably a bogus. Something you can use to determine if, 1) the file is good, and 2) if you have the right codecs is gspot. It's in the software section of this site.
