Good day, I am having trouble while backing up my Top Gun special collectors Edition UK Release. Its a 2005 movie. (double disc) The problem is that neither of the discs will run in my DVD writer drive. The moment I insert a disc it spins up loudly (for a while) and then my PC re-boots itself. It will not play on PC at all. Both these DVD's do the same thing. They both work and play perfectly in my normal home theatre DVD player. My DVD writer drive is not faulty because all my other dvd's work fine and I do regular back-ups! Any help or advice would be great!
have you tried holding the shift button down when insterting either of the discs (into the PC i mean) - that disables the autoplaying of the disc. this sounds like some annoying auto-play software on the dvd's..
Thanks for the help Creaky. I have tried pressing shift but it does not help. The drive also does not play my UK 'HERO' DVD but it will play all of my other new UK dvd's... any other suggestions? Thanks for your time
