I'm having trouble playing an .avi file i downloaded.I tried doing what was suggested on the thread posted at the top of the page "codec problems lookie here" . I still can't view my file.I tried using gspot and I downloaded the codec that was missing but I still don't get video or sound.the file name has xvid in it but the file is an .avi file.How do I play this file
you must install the xvid codec in your pc. all xvid and divx files are *.avi files. but if you want to play them in any player you must first install the xvid or divx codec.
