OK I have winavi and everytime I load it up keeps saying I need the quicktime codec 6.5 or higher but I have quick time 7.0 something so I know its ok but it keeps on telling and I am having issue convering a avi movie to dvd I think due to this issue... it will convert it seems like it has finish but when I have a look at the file there help of file and does not seem assiociated with anything and when I try shrink to burn the dvd file it says it cant as it not speific file or something... driving me crazy I have uninstalled and reinstalled both programs soo many times I dont know what else to do....

    Cheers :D

Update Quicktime and see if that helps get all the updates)
    Use Winavi vers. 7.1

Thanks I see if it works and get rid of the message at the front everytime I try and use winavi... but I figure out the issue on burning missing a codec lol

I recently updated WinAvi and now get the same message and also can't figure out what codec they mean. I recently updated quick time as well.

I have no issues converting files , so I'm not overly concerned.
