problem with x-box

    i was playing fable when it said disk damged or dirty so then i cleaned it when i was playing it happend again and it happens to all my games except pgr 2 whats going on?

    It is probably a problem with your Xbox, not your games. What version is your Xbox?

    couple questions

    -original games or backups?

    -if backups,are they all on the same type of media?

    -and of the backups patched in any way...if so how?

    -and how were the backups,backed up?

    all my games are original,im new at this x-box thing how do i find out the version? all i know is that the serial is:3021697 33105 and the mfg-date is: 2003-07-27

    Yea that happens to me only when i'm playing fable i have no idea why?????

    It is most definitely a problem w/ your drive then, especially since it does it on more than just one game. What type of drive do you have? Check here if you do not know... http://webpages.charter.net/modchipzone/xboxdrives.htm

    First, I would try using some basic lens cleaner to clean your drives lens.

    If that does not work, you could pot tweak your laser to make it read your games better (I'll help you with that if you need help)

    If that doesn't work, I would order a new drive. You can get them off of eBay for cheap!
