I just got my cousin an xbox for his birthday and I promised I'd mod it, and I did. The mod chip works fine, the hd doesn't. For the time being, I'm allowing him to use my old xbox hd, which works with the modchip by the way, but I'd rather find out how to make his hd work. Any suggestions or answers?
One of the easiest ways to get it to work is install the non-working hard drive and put it as the master (jumper settings). Then use a CD-RW that has Slayer's Evox Auto-Installer to completely format the hard drive and install evox, etc. onto it. It'll be workable after that.
