    Hello.

I started to go though the AVI to DVD guide to the letter (and a good guide it is too) but for some unknown reason, when I get to TMPGEnc bitrate settings page it states that my movie "SAW" is now 267 mins long?? - the orig file is only 140 mins and roughly the same specs as the film in the guide - this is blowing out my % of disc capacity. Am I missing something here.

    Thanks

    Matt

The guide is good, but if you're having trouble with it, try use an alternative method:
Convert your avis into DVD compliant format with VSO DivxToDVD (free program), then burn with Nero.

    Will try that. thanks

All I've got to do now is to get WINXP to recognise a blank DVD in my DL DVD RW and I'll be sorted. ;-)
