    Hey guys. Relatively new to backing up my DVD's. Just got two new ones to back up, Exorcism of Emily Rose & Crash, but after they were made, they would never play. It just sat at a black, blank screen. I use both DVD Shrink 3.2 and Sonic RecordNow. Is there some sort of new copy protection technology that is blocking my DVD player from reading these files? The files seem fine on my computer. Never had any problems before.

    @caseym,
    These 2 can easily be backed up with AnyDVD & CloneDVD 2. Use CloneDVD 2 and have AnyDVD enabled while you back it up. These programs can be downloaded & used Free for 21 days. Unlimited use for that 21 days. After that, you must buy or uninstall. Trust me, if you want reliable programs to use for backing up your DVDs. These are well woth the money. AnyDVD is constantly updated & both have tech support too.

    Thanks for the info! It's greatly appreciated. I'll try it out.

    You'll try it out and it'll work. I have both of these backed up and had no issues whatsoever. AnyDVD; Shrink then Decryptor for me worked wonders.
