Hi all. I am having some trouble burning madden 2006. It is weird as i have never had a problem backing up games. I haven't backed up a game for about 5 months now (acutally thats not true... i did just back up GT4 and Chaos Theory about 2 months ago). Anyway... here is what im getting.

I open DVD Decrypter mode-iso-read and let it do its thing

then i mode-iso-write. Choose the source and select burn.

About 10% of the way in i get this error.

    [bold]
    I/O Error!

    Device: [1:0:0] PIONEER DVD-RW DVR-108 1.17 (D:)(ATA)

    ScsiStatus: 0x02
    Interpretation: Check Condition

    CDB: 2A 00 00 01 A2 80 00 00 20 00
    Interpretation: Write(10) - Sectors: 107136 - 107167

    Sense Area: F1 00 05 00 01 A2 80 0E 00 00 00 00 21 02 00 00 00 00 62 41 00 00
    Interpretation: Invalid Address For Write

    [/bold]

I then get an option to retry and cancel, with a retry leading to a similar error.

I don't get why this is happening. I have burnt many a game before like i previously stated. I just coastered two taiyo yudens with madden 06 on 1x burn speed.

Have settings been changed in my dvd decrypter as to css modes? Is the game too scratched up to be burnt? My guess is the game is too smudged and scratched. Is this a good guess?

Yeah, unfortunately it's a scratch. A few times dvd decrypter would have errors like that... but other copies of the same game would work fine. Scratches suck. :(

Ok, i got a new version of the game. Absoultely untouched, no scrathes, and it didnt burn for me. At roughly 10%, it gave me the same error.

I think my DD settings are wrong. I might have changed them awhile back without remembering. What is the problem?

Check this out, i just got a Smagic 3.6 with the slide tool, and couldn't get any game working with DVD Decrypter(ISO-READ), so I burned the image using dvd decrypter and (ISO-WRITE) using Alcohol 120, and it worked perfect

hmm I don't know. madden didn't give me any problems. try it with alochol or isobuster or magiciso or any other program that will rip dvd isos.

Hi,I have burnt Madden 06 from a download,it loads ok but getting from screen to screen takes forever. It took me 3 to 4 mins to load a practice session.Crap media perhaps?? I burnt it at the lowest speed on my burner using Princo 8x on my Teac 2x dvd burner...

    I would do this.

    1. Create the .iso with DVD Decrypter as you did.
    2. Open the .iso file up in ISObuster, and write down all of the
game files in the order you see them.
    3. Then, press Cntrl-A to highlight all of the files, and right click
one of them, then "extract to" a new folder of your making.
    4. Once all of the files are extracted, Open up CD/DVD Generator.
    5. Drag each game file into it from the folder you extracted the files
to, in the order you wrote them down.
    6. Click the "volume" button.
    7. Put in Slus in in the first box, followed by the 5 digit number
for the Slus file of the game. If your game is a Pal version,
put in SLES, then the 5 digit number.
    8. Click "Record."
    9. You get two errors, this is correct.
    10. Click File/Extract, and name it the name of your game.
    11. You will end up with a series of .iml files.
    12. Open up IML2ISO and have it open the first .iml file of your
game that was created. Each file is numbered. So click on the
default one shown, or the lowest numbered one, (which includes
one with no number at all to be the lowest one.)
    13. Next, click the "start" button for that program, and once the
new .iso is created, burn that one to DVD.

I haven't played this game yet, and don't know if it's online capable. However, if it is online playable, you will need to patch a file or two. Refer to my "how-to" on that.

Hey Tmac.Is your Madden 06 a PC version?
If so you will need 2 discs to install the game, most EA sports games require two discs for PC installation.
