Hey there folks, just a quick one... Basically ive burnt off a Gamecube backup as described in the Awesome tutorial.... however on trying to boot the game using GCOS1.5 i get the Setting up 06 Drive screen... followed by some disc reading activity from my Cube, and then it returns the message Media Wasn't Recognised Press A... Press B... Any help on what teh problem migh tbe would be appreciated, im pretty certain its not my media... Regards Dia
Ok... First of all, what media are you using? It might be the quality of disc, ect. Second, I don't reccomend using GCOS, I find Cobra 1.6 works better for ripping and playing. (That's just my preference) One other problem could be you gc's POT setting. I highly reccomend getting a good quality of disc, gc's are very picky.
Hey there, thanks for replying... Mini DVDs im using to be fair are no namers... Branded as "Mr. DVD" but claim to be the highest quality DVDs :S Viper 1.6, i thought that was the BIOS for the Mod CHip, sorry i forgot to mention im using maxdrive pro... is there a viper.dol file i can download if this is the case?
Well... I've never used the memory card method myselft, but I know that mini-dvd have to be better than no name RitkekGO4 is the best, but Sony and other well-known brands also work. I myself have had bad experiences with no-name so I know the feeling. As for the downloadable .dol file, I do have one (Cobra 1.2) in my archives, I just have to figure out how to send it to you...
