Problems Burning PS2 Games

    To anyone that can help. I just purchased a PS2 with a Mod Chip that is Version Magic 3.1 I burned all the none DVD discs with no problem but about half the DVD discs that I burn doesn't play or read. I used FujiFilm & Ritek and Ritek does not work at all while FujiFilm works about half the time. I am burning with HP RecordNow and using an HP 200e DVD+R/RW drive. I have only used DVD+R and they don't seem to work. Please help if anyone knows what might be the problem. Thanks.

    I can't give you an answer but Im having the same problem. I can burn everything except tiger woods 2003. It says it burns fine but it just won't play

    what is the best program to copy PS2 games and where Can i find the perfect guide to do so.

    I use HP DVD Writer and out of all of the others that I've tried, this is the best one I think. Easy CD Creator copies the games, but most of them don't play. Nero screws up in the middle for me all the time, but DVD Writer has been the best so far, but that's not to say it's flawless.

    I am using DVD COPIER TOWER 1 TO 1 AND IT IS WORK FINE WITH MODCHIP 3.5 BUT I CAN NOT DUPLICATE THE BLACK/PURPLE/BLUE DVD THAT ARE ABOVE OF 4.7GB MEDIA

    THERE IS ANY ONE HAVE IDEA HOE TO BURN THOSE

    DVD'S ???

    I wasn't aware that some PS2 games actually used double-layered DVD discs... Don't think they sell multi-layered dvd burners yet, if they do, haven't seen any of the blank media... What game are you talking about?

    Double layered game like : gta vice city, metal gear: substance and Xenosaga can't be burned with a conventionnal method.

    There is no way a dvd burner can burn a double layered game, even if such a media would exist.

    Vice City is not dual layered.
