I'm trying to burn my mix through Nero with no pauses, I took out all the two second gaps/pauses inbetween tracks, but I always get this message: Audio pauses: Nero has detected that the following audio properties are not supported by your recorder in the current write mode and need to be modified: CD specification allows only 2-3 seconds pause for the first track Nero can change the audio track settings for you to fit the capabilities of your recorder. This might cause some audio properties to be lost. Do you want Nero to change the track settings for you? What's the problem? I can't figure out if it's my cd writer or the blank cd's im using. I searched through the forum, everyone says that if you just take out the two second pausses it should burn fine.... I'm using blank TDK 700MB CD-R's with a ATAPI CD-RW 16X recorder that came with my Dell computer... Any ideas will be greatly appreciated, thanks
does your writer support DAO (disk at once). This is the method you must burn at to eliminate the 2 second gap. Most likely you are burning TAO (track at once) and that adds the 2 second gap.
The 1st track always needs a 2 seconds pause before. Nero is stupid and allows you to change that value. If you want serious burning programs you may like Feurio, although I doubt your drive is directly supported: http://www.feurio.com/English/cd_writer.shtml You won't have to remember setting 0 seconds pauses anymore.
