i copied madden 2004 to the hard drive on my xbox. The game starts fine and everything, but when I go to start a franchise the whole thing just locks up. It also does it when I have the game boot up off of the cd in the same spot.
strange, you might try cleaning the disk and see if it works then, if it does just delete the one on the hdd and recopy it with the clean disk.
I have had the same problem when i copy Indy Car Series 2005 .When the Game starts it says ,Cant read the disk it must have a scratch or could be damaged.I tried two different game disks and they both loaded with the same message.I have about 24 games on the HDD and have had problems with about 4 games so far loading from the HDD ,one with no volume when you play and the others with the freezing prob
I have the same problem with indycar. Tried from the hdd, and 4 different disk medias. Still no joy. Also ran into a problem with furious karting, I keep getting an error in craxtion, and dvd2xbox won't work with it either. (both are current versions)
hey i had the same prob with madden finally after trying like 3 different copies i got 1 to work if it had even the smallest defect on the disk(scratch,smudge,etc) it wouldnt work finally i found a copy with absolutely nothing on it and it worked so i would suggest just keep trying diff. disks
I got indycar 2005 to backup. I used xiso to make the iso and dvd decrypter to burn the disk. The disk works fine, but I can't get it to play if backed up to hdd (files send by ftp or dvd2xbox) all get dirty disk error. Also xiso was the only one to work with Furious Karting, Craxtion kept getting an error. This game has a ton of small files.
