Hi folks. I use DVD Decryptor to rip and Intervideo DVDcopy to burn my copies to disk. Over the past two days, I have been trying to burn some movies directly from my hard drive and have gotten error messages indicating that 'My Burn Copy Failed." I never get any more details, but the DVD Copy program appears to first buffer a copy THEN start to burn the movie to disk. Thee error messages occur after this buffer time. Nothing appears to write to the DVD and then the hardware kicks out my blank disk. Any help out there to get this buffer time to end and get the burn completed???? I am at wits end over this.

    I'd suggest ImgTool Classic (free)
basically it makes an .iso image from your video files (VIDEO_TS) and then if you specify it'll use dvddecrypter to automatically burn that .iso image.

Your replies are great-thanks for the assistance... I have been out of town, but I will try the new programs you've all suggested ans see how it goes.

The funny part about this is that the burn continues to work fine sometimes again, and I've never lost any discs despite the failure to burn to the disc... The only continuous problem that remains is that DVDDecrypter will rip the movie to my hard drive, but the copy program still has to buffer what seems to be another copy to a temp file, and then it will burn the movie to desk (hopefully). I'm fairly certain it didn't do that when I first started this process. Maybe the settings on Decrypter need to be changed??? Thanks again for your help!!!
