Hello, I've been ripping a good 50% of my horror film collection and a few other DVD's and have found a few that I have had problems with. One is the Movie High Tension and the other is The Alamo both are newer films, and both I have bought brand new. The films play fine in my dvd player but when DVD Decrypter gets about half way through the process it starts giving me all kinds of errors on both DVD's it stops at file VTS_06_1.VOB i wouldn't have posted this if it didn't stop on the same file each time. I've made sure I am using the most current version of decryptor, any other methods I should be trying. Val
I did both using any dvd and nero recode. I don't think either had anything special. Try using dvd fab decrypter which has kinda taken the place of decrypter which is no longer updated. Here's a link to download: http://www.filepedia.com/video_software/dvd_rippers/dvdfab_decrypter.cfm
or use CloneDVD 2 with anydvd it will do the movie fine also use good media Taiyo Yuden ,Verbatim and burn at 4x http://home.comcast.net/~bbmayo/index.html
