I'm haveing problems getting my cpu to recognize my x box is connected to it via ethernet crossover cables. My ethernet adapter was configured for a high speed internet connection. I cant access my x box console to FTP games to my cpu's hard drive. Do I need a Mod Chip first?

To FTP to your Xbox you will either need to softmod your Xbox or Hard Mod it.

Below is a link on how to softmod your Xbox (softmod is game exploit no need to open Xbox).

If you want to Modchip your Box you will have to buy and install a modchip.
