Problems installing Madden 2008. Please help

    When try I to install Madden 2008 the main screen pops up with what I install, update and other options. When I click on install I get a message box that tells me to make sure no other programs are running during the installation process and when I click okay a small black screen flashes up four times. The screen flashes to quickly and unable to read what it says. After the black screens flash nothing happens.

    Processor: Intel e6600 dual core 2.4 GHz
    motherboard: Intel 975xbx2
    graphics card: 320 MB Geforce 8800
    2 gigs of RAM
    I'm running windows XP Pro with service pack two
