problems installing my eurovox max digital rceiver

    I've purchases my eurovox max 2006 digital receiver and tried intalling it, i got as far as the instalation page, but cannot go further.
    Can someone please advise me, or help me install my box. Do i need a smart card.

    binkie iv'e tryed to set up a tutorial on inputting codes for the eurovox http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/647037 could you close all futher threads on this subject as this is the first time codes needed to be updated on the eurovox,and by next week there will be threads all over the place

    I'm thinking maybe the virus net is big enuf :)

    I'm thinking though tenneil problem is different though then a code issue. But then again I can be a noob in the dvb bit :)

    LOL at the virus net. And yes you are correct, looks like a straight forward set up problem. But if they are in Ireland they will still have a code problem also after set up, hopefully he/she isnt :(

    @tenniel if you go to Eamos FTA Library at the bottom of my post you will find all you need guides, firmware etc, BTW I would say you have a Max V 2008 model if you only bought it, unless its secondhand.
