When i tried to install me sims 2 disk, i get an error message saying "a problem occurred when trying to transfer the file 'TSData\res\sims3d\sims08.package' from the media do u want to retry to copy the file, or cancel the installation". I have tried saving it to my hard drive then installing in, but i get the same error message. HELP!!!!! thanks!
this is happening because the disk may have surface scratches which have caused the data to become correct, it happened to my disk 3, even a repair spin didnt fix it, so you will have to get a new set of disks.
