Problems installing update for avg free 8.0

    I hope I'm in the right section, I just downloaded the new update for AVG. When I try to install it I keep getting this error:
    registry key HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows: creating registry key Error 0x80070005
    Can someone please help me with this.

    your download may be corrupt try redownloading if that dosent work uninstall use a key cleaner and reinstall with the later version if that dosent work try a better free antivirus like avast

    Version 8.0 is perfectly fine, but maybe try the new 8.5
