I'm a newbie currently trying my hand at this. I'm using a PS2 modded with a Neo4 chip and a Plextor 712A with Alcohol 120% to burn. I was able to copy Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando and it works just fine if I swap it with the original DVD or use Final Fantasy X. I believe this has something to do with TOC (I have no idea what this is at the moment, just saw a mention of it in the Neo4 swap info). Since RCGC worked, I tried my hand at another game, namely Timesplitters 2. The game works fine if I use the original game in the swap, but doesn't work with anything else I try. Is there something I'm missing? Any help is greatly appreciated. Edit: Doing a search on TOC, I've come to the understanding that I need a game that is equal to or bigger in size of Timesplitters 2 TOC in order to boot it. Is this correct?
Timesplitters 2 has a very large TOC. You will need a larger size game such as Devil May Cry to boot it. I recommend getting the swap magic discs to boot your games. They work for a large percentage of PS2 games. The rest just requires a Cd Loader swap.
