    Hi,

I've made backup CDs over past years and came to try and re-cover some info but my PC doesn't recognise the disk(s). My PC is running Windows 2000Pro with the CDs having been created in Win95 (probably).

If I use Nero to give me information on the disk it tells me there's a single track, type is ISO9660 (type 1).

Can anyone tell me why I can't read the CDs.

    Thanks

    Adey.

ISO9660 is the most compatible system file, so it should be read also by DOS.

Try opening the CD with isobuster. Often it can recover stuff that Windows Explorer cannot see...

Thanks, downloaded isobuster and can view the files, even on the CDRW disks ;-)
