I have a new computer system and everything is working fine except the sims when I install and play it will go to the game and play for about 5 minutes and then locks up with repeated sound the only way to get out of it is the reset button.I have tried advice everywhere but here I hope someone has had this problem and can help me. My system is: Intel Pentium 2.4 gig Sony DRU-500AX 1 gig ram windows xp home editon 60 gig hard drive soyo P4S dragon ultra motherboard GE Force 4 graphics accelerator on board sound Robotics 92 modem cannon BJ printer fugi digital camera
just for the record ive had a similar problem...mine with sim golf. just gave up eventually. coincidently i have a similar system to yours.
