I connected my PC to TV monitor through S-Video/Scart adapter. Finally managed to see everything on the screen, except that video does not show up. I can see even the frames of my DVD player software, but the image itself does not appear on the screen. Anyone know why is that? How to fix the problem?

This is a typical problem, where you can see the player's outline but inside it's just a black screen.

What player are you using to watch DVD's/movie files? I know for Windows Media Player and other viewers that use Video Acceleration, this problem occurs because it's enabled. Just go into performance or options and disable Video Acceleration, that USUALLY solves the problem for most players.

I'd suggest trying other Media players as well, see if it's just the current one you're using.

    Good luck!
