Problems trying to fix Hitachi noise drive

This is the first time I've dealt with this issue I've looked up the fix and can't really find my exact problem. The magnet on the spindle is attached and its not coming off but it looks off balance. When I use the magnet from the top part it will read fine but it will still make the noise. When I put the magnet back in the top part it won't make noise but it will give me an open tray error. At this point I don't want to any damage to the drive any other methods you can suggest.
