I have loaded my artwork into iTunes and its in there - but onmy iPod it shows a different album cover. When you click on the select button to get a full screen of the album artwork, the correct album artwork is there. I tried deleting all my artwork (over 6500 songs...ugh) and re-loaded about 500 of them - same problem!

    help! thanks! : )

Maybe you have more than one album art picture per song?

Thanks but that's not it - I actually went in and deleted every piece of artwork I have and started to reload the album covers. I loaded about 25 or 30 of them and re-sync'd my iPod and the same problem is there. Funny thing is that one of the album covers showing up on a song is not even an album I have re-loaded yet. That artwork is no where I can see it in iTunes.

As a side note - I have two iPods I hook up to my iTunes and the problem is on both of the iPods which makes me think it must be an iTunes problem??

I have encountered a similiar problem, but with mine the album art isn't always wrong. Which leads me to believe its a problem with my iPod. My only solution has been to restore it, which seems to fix it for some time.

Does it show up propely on iTunes as in when you are listening to a song on iTunes can you see the correct album art in the bottom left hand corner? *You may have to push the show/hide button to show the album art box*

Hey guys! Thanks for the replies...first...it does not happen on all the songs...just on some of them...but it is happening on 2 different iPods so I am thinking it would have to be an iTunes problem. And, yes, the correct artwork shows up in the bottom left hand corner when the song is playing...the problem is only on the iPod itself...which would then make me think its the iPod and not iTunes...now maybe you can see why I am so confused! When you say restore it do you mean to restore the artwork itself or to reformat the iPod itself? And if its the latter, will I lose my music and how do I do it? Thanks!

Restoring your iPod turns your ipod back to the way it was out of the box so yes you will lose your songs, but you have them on your computer so you can just update it again. To restore you plug in your ipod->open ipod updater-. and click restore. Once it has finished restoring you can put your songs back onto your iPod and the album art should be correct. Not 100% sure though, but it's worth a try.

Just to clarify, you don't lose the songs from iTunes, those stay there so you don't have to re-rip all your CD's or anything. The songs just get cleared off of your iPod.

From Nitrous' post. After you restore your iPod has to take some time to reboot itself, so be patient with it. If it went succesfully it should prompt you to pick a language.
