Problems w/DV Camcorder Capture - example pic posted

    I have tried to capture video from my Sony TRV-120 via IEEE using both ULead DVDWS, and Adobe Premiere. Both resulting avi's have the same problem - vertical horizontal interference (for lack of a better explanation). I can see vertical distortion/pixelation between different colors.     I've circled 2 areas in particular where you can see what I'm talking about. This is straight, uncompress AVI.

    I have a brand new PC, loaded, running XP w/updates, 512 MB, 80 GB, 2.7, etc, etc..

    ANY help would be greatly appreciated!

    it looks like a dark indoor video. My sony dcr-pc5 will pixelate also if the light is too low. That is what I think.

    The problem you have has nothing to do with dark lightning. I cant tell you what the problem is but i have exactly the same problem!
    If you find out what it is please contact me and discibe the problem!
