problems w/ max drive pro and gcos

I loaded gcos1.4 on to my max drive pro. On my gamecube I go to load backup, then it has the 8 seconds to swap msg. I put in the burned game and it has a green screen for just a second and then black. I tried Mortal Kombat Deception and Star Fox Assault. Can someone please help?

 

I have the same problem, what reigon is your gamecube? mine has a type 6
drive although I don't know what this means. To verify that it was the bios that was at fault and not the disks I was burning, I tried to boot a bought game as a backup (same lack screen result). I have been reading around and I have not heard of this problem anywhere else.

 

I also tried Gcos V1.2 but to no avail. My cube is from New Zealand which is a PAL system.

 

I used real game and it worked.

 

What is the URL for the official homepage of GCOS?, I might D/L from there and then try. What reigon is your cube? What media and burning prog did u use?
