Problems w/Nero Recode

    I've recently had a problem while burning with "Nero Recode". I'm using Verbatim Dvd+R 16X discs and burning at 4x speed. When I play the movies back, they skip and freeze. This problem started about 2 weeks ago, after I updated my drives firmware I believe.

    If I use CloneDvd at 1x speed on the same movies that I had the problems with using Nero there are no problems at all. Flawless!

    Can someone with a little more experience please shed some light or give me a place to start? Thanks.

    I had a problem once like this after updating my firmware. I reflashed it again with the updated firmware and it corrected the problem. So maybe give that a try?

    Ok, thanks. I'll try that then. I forgot to mention that it's "Recode 2" if that makes a difference.

    Well I was unable to reflash my drive because I have to use "LiveUpdate" and it keeps saying that I already have the latest firmware for my drive.

    Any suggestions?
