It says on all my movies that I have converted and burnt trial version at the top of the screen. Then I had sound and now I don't seem to have any audio on my movies that I have burnt. What is it that I'm doing wrong or what is it that I need to do? Tia.
Dear Feather72, You're probably referring to the commercial shareware version of VSO. There is on the other hand a freeware version of VSO which encodes equally well, but does not burn. You can get it here: http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/video_encoders/vso_divxtodvd_free.cfm Now what you may do is try encode with VSO (free version), then check the results before burning to dvd with e.g. Nero. Good luck!
This download is the same version that I already have and yes, it burns. It also has the Trail Version at the top of movies when I watch them! UGH! I also don't understand why I did have audio on the movies and now I don't.
I'm sorry to be so impatient w/ wanting some answers but I'm waiting to burn another DVD. I have the files already converted and want to delete it because it takes tons of space on my harddrive. Tia!
Still don't understand why you're getting the commercial version rather than the freeware version. Anyway, if you still have the original video, then maybe you could just delete the converted files which are no good for the time being. For the audio problem, you may try convert with another program (e.g. DVDSanta, Winavi) to see if things would be better. You should also check the results with different media players 'cos sometimes this one will pick up audio while the other one will not. Good luck!
