Problems with 40GB PS3?

i have a 40 GB and have had no problems at all. I think for some people who are experiencing freezing during the game (eg, assassin's creed), they need to make sure they obtain the latest update for the game by ensuring that their console is connected to a wireless network. This has solved some people's problems...

 

I have the latest updates installed and my game still freezes. It has happened three times during Need For Speed Pro Street. REALLY annoying especially if you haven't had a chance to save.

There's nothing wrong with the 40gig, this thread was created a long time ago in response to rumors that it had a 40% fail rate (more than likely started up by Xbox fan-boys) which were proven complete false. No need to worry, suppose this was one circumstance where the search function wasn't such a good thing ^.^'

Oh and that coupon was probably bogus, if not it was more than likely given to one person because of some customer service claim.
