Hey guys, I just had my new satellite system put in, it is a 6131 HD receiver, but I can't get an HD signal to my TV. Sometimes it goes from blue screen to black, and back to blue. Most of the time stays blue. I really don't understand what the issue is. I have been screwing around with setting and stuff but can only get it to work in composite, my tv does not have component cables at all. Any ideas?
Try another cable. Reverse the cable you have. When you "had my new satellite system put in" didn't they check it out?
6131 HD receiver "HOW TO CONNECT YOUR SATELLITE RECEIVER" http://www.bell.ca/web/tv/en/all_regions/pdfs/dth/6131/6131_13_Ch11_eng.pdf What kind of TV do you have?
Soyo I cannot seem to find any solution as far as seetings or anything go. I think it just might be the TV.
Alright, I am beginning to think this issue was created by the installers that came to my house. Now, I fire up my Xbox 360, and I get no sound through my HDMI, I did before. Also, when I try and play a movie, I get "No secure HDCP" or something like that. It like its not handshaking with anything anymore. WTF.
