stick ya knob in your network adaptor and blow that f**king virus back where it came from!! Na just kidding.

What anti-virus / spyware software are you using. If its norton i'm not surprised your infected. Like the other fellow said, try doing a "system restore" If that fixes it and the computer is running ok make sure you disable system restore so the virus gets deleted from your system, then turn system restore back on.

There is also a great free AV program at www.free-av.com . Just look at the "personal anti-virus" section for a free download. Wipe the virus out, then try it.

Also, I had connectivity issues an rapidshare, megauploader, and others after a virus at one point. What happened was, the virus altered my firewall settings and made uploading anything impossible. My friend, a programmer, told me the virus did that to protect itself from any AV updates coming in... which is why he reccomended free-AV, with the daily updates.

You aren't using an "E-trust" product, like the "Security Suite" offered free by RR are you? If so, I was and that was where my problem was. Even disableing the firewall and AV still left me stranded. Removing them and using windows firewall/Anti-Vir (free-AV) took care of the problem.
