Here's the info for a file that plays flawlessly on my vista system- windows media player but I cannot get tmpgenc, gspot, dvdate, convertxtodvd, or virtualdub to even recognise it as an avi. I also tried to use windows dvd maker. It attempted to encode but the results were less than satisfactory as it was blotchy and kept freezing. This file will not play and is not recognised by any software on my xp system.
The info was provided by the original ripper of the file.
    Any suggestions?
    Thanks for any help provided.
