problems with API 7.09e_E beta

    hi all
    I have a starview 3 the box super which came with API 8.00e_E boot version 8.0. After 1 week the box started to reboot itself every 30 seconds. I then reflashed it with API 7.09_E beta - all went well except that I RTE and RTE2 would not load no matter how many times I rescanned the channels. Has anyone heard of this and is there a solution. Also is there a better software version out there?

    i take it your on n@l Ireland if so try a manual scan on 339.500

    yes you are right. NTL. To do a manual scan do you actually have to go in and type in 339.500 or do you scroll through for it? I haven't had to do that yet. The issue with RTE and this version - have you heard of before?

    yeah go to menu installation--cable network-n@l-down frequency=339.500- manual scan-ok.
