   The easiest thing to try first, and it's free, is VSO DivxToDVD
   http://www.download.com/VSO-DivXtoDVD-Converter/3000-7970_4-10376028.html?tag=lst-0-1
   
   If you get audio out of sync then you might have to use a more involved process. If that happens search on "PAL TO NTSC" in these forums and you'll get loads of info.
