well i just got this computer (Dell 5150) and ive burnt 3 movies so far, 1 worked perfectly on all 3 dvd players, 1 had discoloured blocks plus skipping on my dvd player (wasnt tested on others), and the last one had the same blocks and skipping on mine but also didnt even play on my sisters, i have no clue wuts going on as im very new to burning and thos 3 i refered to are the only ive ever burnt,

i use nero for everything and my dvd burner is a Philips DVD+-RW DVD8701

any help i could get to have all my dvds run perfect would be very
    appreciated

Post your Nero log, it is in Program Files, Ahead, Nero, Nero History. Also what speed are you burning at try keeping it to 4x and use good media such as Sony, Verbatim, Fuji or Maxell. I have a Dell 5100 and have no problems with burning.
