The situation is this I have a HP640B dual layer 16X burner. I have backed up tons of movies using shrink, decrypter, nero etc. But there have been a few movies in the last few months, which only CLONE will bakcup. My tech put clone on my Computer back in April and it worked ok, but at the end of the burning process there was no EJECT button to click, and even the eject button on my dvdv drive wouldn't open, the only way to eject the disc was to shut down the computer. We uninstalled & reinstalled 3 times, and never did get it to work. So I don't have clone. Another person on one of these forum said he has the same drive as me, so he tried the trial version and it worked great. So last night I decided to give it another whirl, so I downloaded the freebie trial of Anydvd then I downloaded the 21 freebie of Clone. Any dvd worked great, but when I went to use Clone, it said my 21 day trila had expired...and it hadn't even been 10 minutes. As far as I know all remenents of past clone is off of this PC, or if there is nay I can't find it. Any idea? This is the reason I'm purchasing a external dvd drive so I can run this program, I hate to buy it though if its not going to work. Grateful for any info. I have received so much valuable info & help thur u guys at Afterdawn!

You've used your 21 day free trial and now if you want to use CloneDVD2, you'll need to purchase it.

AnyDVD and CloneDVD2 are the best two program investments I've made. 100% positive results.

Hi Bilbo: I downloaded the free 21 day trial last night....how did I use a 21 day trial in less then 10 minutes?? I don't purchase software I am unable to test out on my computer & drives first...I think thats the idea behinda free trial period...but they do actually last longer then 10 minutes..ususally.

It recogizes your unique computer ID. So if you get rid of it ,you still had it. If you had loaded in April your time has expired. If it was the only app that would back up some discs then you have tried it and should know it's well worth the money. I bought both for a combined price of $60 like Bilbo said VERY good investments. Good luck
