Hi, I have been having problems burning CD-R's ever since I had a DVD-RW drive installed in my computer. The CDRW drive doesn't even attempt to read the CD's now, the orange light comes on & stays on, the computer freezes up and the disc won't eject. So, then I've tried burning CD-R's on the DVD-RW Drive because it says I can, and it will burn the songs, but then on every disc I burn, half of the songs on the end of discs skip, jumble together, or are completely blank. Is there some sort of conflict with the 2 drives, or does anyone have any idea what might be going on? I really just want to burn 1 good CD-R, and not have anymore frisbees. Thanks in advance! Hi Kpasa96 When you installed the new drive - was this an addition or was it replacing another drive? Which port did you install it on - master or slave? Another question or 2 for you - which program are you using to burn? How about the discs and burn speed?
