could be the brand of media you used
    1. what brand and speed is it (Philips 8X DVD-R)
    2. what speed did you burn ISO at and with what program
    3. how did you make ISO, what program
    4. does the main dash see it as a game

if it shows as data then you must have burned the disc as data rather than burning it as an image.

or you burned the files and not an ISO

get a program like Craxtion4 or Qwix. Those can take that folder full of game files and turn them into an ISO file.
Then you use DVD Decrypter to burn the ISO file to DVD-R

kakou, what type of DVD's did you use (TDK 8X DVD-R for example)
What did you burn the ISO file with?
And what speed did you burn it?
    And what game?

steimy nailed it, i would recommend quix, what you should do is extract the ISO data then create an xISO using quix and burn it at 1x-4x speed usign dvd decryptor.
