    hi peeps,

i re-encoded 3 films lately using dvdshrink and nero and the quality is fine even on my 32" widescreen but the problem i have is that sometimes the chapters seem to skip. example: watching matrix reloaded then is got to the end of a chapter 1/2 way thru then went back to the beginning again - wtf!

this has happened the last 3 movies i burnt using dvd shrink - i used to use instant cd which never gave any problems but now my last 3 disks are flakey

the weird thing is that if i get back to the chapter again the 2nd time it usually goes on as normal with maybe a slight pause

any ideas as this is doing my head in as instant cd method takes much longer

what is your burner, burning program and media?
What kind of standalone do you have?

Does this happen when you look at it on the computer?

It could well be. Why don't you try v3.0b5? ;)
