    Hey there!

I just have a few questions, i've been trying to backup some of my movies onto DL DVD's and everything seems to backup fine (i'm using AnyDVD & CloneDVD2), but when i view the dvds in my dvd player it seems to die around the layer break. The dvd will play perfectly through the first half of the movie then it will just hiccup and stop playing.

I'm not sure if this is because of the media i've been using (Memorex), or if its because of my DVD burner (DRU-800A its a Sony Drive).

I've been ripping the DVD with AnyDVD, then burning with CloneDVD2. Any ideas on why my DVD's seem to get f'ed at the layer break, and how i can fix this?

    Thanks!

After eunsuring reliable media (e.g. Verbatim) respect the suggested speed for writting. Personally no mater the suggestion is i use 2,4X for all compilations for DVD-9 and 4X for DVD-5.

Best of the best are Taiyo Yudens and Verbatims, personally ( and its just a personal choice ) I use Riteks G04 and Go5 and for best results burn quite slow, I normaly don't go above 4x

    Hope this helps
