I have tried many times to backup Enter the Matrix and Vice City. I have tried using CloneCD and Twinpeak with the help of Shoey's guide. I have used Blindwrite and even Nero. I never have any problems installing the game, its just that when I run it I get the error "This application has failed to start because mss32.dll was not found. Re-Installing the application may fix this problem." Reinstalling doesn't fix the problem. The .exe is unable to locate mss32.dll. I should also mention that I always burned at 8X or lower. Any help would be much appreciated.
Is the file a intenet download or a "true image" backup? Your best bet is BlindWrite 4.25 and finding the "right" bwa file. It took me 3 shots to successfully backup Unreal Tournament 2003 m8. If you fail with BlindWrite, then go ClonCD\TwinPeaks route. Shoey

Nar - what it was is to see if the game would run? if it did fine but i expect it not to as i think he used file from net?????which must be a bum job! also i did mine NO PATCH YUK! here! very happy with mine had to burn slower though? this guy aint got back tous yet? be interesting to find out! Whew, for a moment there I was really gonna give Rotary the 5th degree (hehe). Good to hear that your backup isn't a "fake", lol. New BlindWrite 4.5 is out as I posted at this forum. It is recommended to read\write SecuROM 4.x a bit slower than Safedisc. Shoey
