I am trying to back up a copy of. I am on a Mac running OS 10.4.7. I have been using Mac the Ripper to copy the dvd's to my hd, then I use Toast 7.0 and use DVD-Video from VIDEO_TS to burn the dvd's. I have been doing this with no problems. I usually do a full disc extraction when using Mac the Ripper, with Penguins, I just did a main feature extraction. When I drag the Penguins TS folder to Toast I get a message that says " The contents of this VIDEO_TS folder cannot be compressed." This is the first time I have seen this message, and if I drag any other TS folder to Toast it works as it should. This is the only main feature extraction that I have on hand right now, but I have done them in the past. Any ideas? Is it just this movie?

Did you do a full feature extraction, because I think that may be the problem. As I said in my earlier post, I have done many dvd back ups just fine on the mac using toast and mactheripper.
