problems with multiple divx files

Hi

I've got a phillips dvp5100 dvd player. When I burn multiple divx files to dvd to play on it sometimes it works and other times it says something along the lines of "unrecognised disc". Any ideas? I use the same method of burning each time

what brand of disks are you using and what is your burn speed

 

emtec and the burn speed is 8x

 

use verbatim, sony or taiyo
slow tour burn speed to 4X
